Thier proprietary production equipment and system insures consistent, precise build-up of material creating one of the lightest, stiffest polyethylene hulls on the market. Manufactured in Canada.

Touring Kayaks

Georgian Bay

Georgian Bay

The Georgian Bay is a light touring kayak. The hull design is very similar to the Gaspe' with hard chines along the bottom. It offers all of the features available in a full size sea kayaks. Standard trim includes carry handles, self-rescue straps, new improved deck trim, adjustable footstops & 2 hard-hatch compartments with mini-cell foam bulkheads. This kayak is available with or without a Feathercraft Rudder System.

St. Lawrence

St. Lawrence

This sea kayak combines durability, affordability and excellent paddling. If you have never paddled a sea kayak before you will appreciate the stable design and large cockpit. The St. Lawrence tracks exceptionally well on it's own but is also available with a rudder system.

Gaspé

Gaspé

A larger brother to the St. Lawrence, the Gaspe' continues with the same excellent paddling characteristics. Clearwater Design have added 6" to the length and a substantial amount of volume to the hull. The bottom of the Gaspe' has a hard chine design. The seat and footstops are adjustable. There are two compartments with minicell foam bulkheads and hard hatch covers. Bungi cord decking and carry handles are also standard trim. This touring kayak is available with a Feathercraft Rudder system installed.

NuNu

This compact, recreational kayak is ideal for children and smaller adults. With a weight of only 40 lbs. this lightweight kayak can easily be portaged by anyone. The seat is molded as part of the hull. Adjustable footstops, carry handles and bungi cord decking are standard features. The polyethylene hull will ensure many years of maintenance free fun on the water.

NuNu XL

NuNu XL

The Nunu XL is Clearwater Design's newest compact recreational kayak designed to accommodate a medium to larger paddler. It picks up where the original Nunu leaves off. This kayak is very stable, lightweight and affordable, a great introductory kayak. The cockpit is slightly longer than a traditional design allowing for more leg room during entry and exit. Standard trim includes carry handles, adjustable footstops, a padded seat with backrest, self-rescue straps and other useful deck hardware.

ClearWater Design's kayak warranty

ClearWater Design's hulls are covered by a five year limited warranty against cracking, tearing, puncture or wear through occurring in normal use.
